Compassion-centered virtual trauma therapy that meets you where you are and guides you toward lasting resilience.
Heal, Grow, Thrive
As an African American therapist who offers Trauma & Relationship Therapy for Adults Healing From Difficult Family Patterns, I help clarify how trauma, family dysfunction, and past relationships can shape the way you see yourself, set boundaries, and connect with others. I specialize in evidence-based trauma recovery and complex trauma counseling, integrating approaches such as trauma-informed therapy, DBT, CBT, somatic awareness, and cognitive processing therapy. I have helped individuals heal from dysfunctional family issues, relationship trauma, and childhood trauma to restore a sense of safety, rebuild healthy relationships, and reclaim their lives—all through secure virtual sessions designed for privacy and convenience for individuals throughout the state of Georgia.
Who We Are
For more than 35 years, I have supported adults in navigating the lasting effects of difficult family relationships, trauma, grief, and spiritual wounds. I believe healing begins when you have a safe, supportive space to explore your experiences, reconnect with your sense of self, and discover new ways of relating to yourself and others.
My approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and grounded in an understanding of the complex ways family patterns can shape our lives. I specialize in dysfunctional family dynamics, relationship counseling, codependency, boundary setting, trauma recovery, grief, and support for survivors of sexual trauma. With my seminary training, I also offer faith-sensitive counseling for those seeking to integrate their spiritual beliefs into the healing process or recover from painful spiritual experiences.
I am committed to serving adults from marginalized communities and honoring each person’s unique story, cultural background, and lived experience. Whether you are learning to establish healthy boundaries, healing from painful relationships, processing loss, or finding your way forward after trauma, you do not have to navigate the journey alone.
I provide online therapy and virtual counseling for adults in Georgia and Idaho, offering a supportive space to work toward greater self-understanding, healthier relationships, and meaningful, lasting change.
Your past may have shaped you, but it does not have to define your future. Healing is possible, and you deserve the opportunity to move forward with greater freedom, confidence, and peace.

Your Questions, Answered
How do I know if online trauma therapy is right for me?
If past experiences continue to trigger distress, interfere with work or relationships, or leave you feeling stuck, trauma-focused therapy can help. Our initial consultation lets us assess your needs and recommend the best service—whether one-to-one sessions, group work, or a guided course—so you can start healing with confidence.
What does a typical session look like?
Sessions last 60 minutes and are held over a secure video platform. Your therapist will create a collaborative space to set goals, practice grounding exercises, and apply evidence-based techniques such as PTSD Therapy, DBT or CBT. You’ll also receive between-session resources to reinforce progress and support daily resilience.
Can I pause or cancel my plan if my schedule changes?
